The Unhappiness factory of kashmir -Usual reactions

http://inpec.in/2012/05/07/the-unhappiness-factory-of-jammu-and-kashmir/ ,written by a dear friend as anticipated has generated responses which are typical of any piece on Kashmir , where one sees Kashmir as it is . The responses are ,its written by Neo Ikhwani ( Ikhwani's were the renegades in kashmir ),its conspiracy of Indian state , Indian media , etc etc ... Most of you those who don't follow Kashmir ,such responses have become raison de etre for such People . But what worries me , do they actually belive in what they say , closing their eyes to the reality or they are just doing it for the Audience. If its for audience , I reserve my comments but if they genuinely believe then its a cause of worry .Blaming Indian media continously is quite surprising since most of the media houses in India are filled with people from Kashmir , just few days back Indian express had carried a full details about pathribal incident which provided a graphic details of the alleged fake encounter ,yet the indictment of Indian Media continuously baffles me.I implore upon my fellow kashmiri's to look beyond conspiracy , take cognizance of reality .Aspiration for azaadi can go hand in hand with the reality , it doesnt entail distorting the facts ......

  1. "Aspiration for azaadi can go hand in hand with the reality , it doesnt entail distorting the facts ." - you hit it bang on. I guess this is my main grouse too.
Where are these comments to the brilliant Sualeh Keen article coming from? Can you kindly put them here?

  2. lets work to bring in harmony and peace by restoring the law and order, employment, social upliftment, education and development of agro based products for which the state is better known. Hope this article would help http://bit.ly/IG3X6O

One slogan, “Independent Kashmir” has been used to misguide the people. Pakistan has tried its best to politicize the problem and win international support for its point of view. It seems that the two countries were on the very brink of war. However, good sense prevailed and the danger of war receded

  3. Kudos to u raju , u have said what is absolutely right in today's scenerio in kashmir, whatever ills they have in their Society they either Blame the India as a whole or Indian media but the fact is that Majority of these comments are made for people who are more aggressive in their stance against India and no one in kashmir wants to take them head on.Its more like and ostrich thinking , freedom is what they can can anly aspire or dream about but in reality it may be more painful then the so called occupation.
